Someone is leaving love letters, in the form of paper book sculptures, at the libraries in Scotland.

For all the Ian Rankin fans out there – many of the sculptures are made of Rankin’s books or books that influenced his work.
The identity of the artist remains a mystery.
(While we encourage artistic expression, we don’t want anyone carving up our books. If you want to try your hand at this, get in touch with me and I’ll let you know if we have any volumes to discard.)
