[Library lessons] Avoiding plagiarism

Plagiarism.  Yawn.  I know. This sounds boring already.

Stick with me a second.

You should probably review what you think you know about plagiarism every year.  You do not want to waste time having to redo an assignment or retake a course.  (Or transferring somewhere else, if the case is particular egregious.)  That‘s a waste of time.

Learning about plagiarism?  That will take just a few minutes.  It’s time well spent.

We have a student guide to plagiarism, with some definitions and links to tools that can help you cite sources and so on.  We also have a page devoted to plagiarism resources, including books, videos, tutorials, and news feeds.
