Maps!

We now have over a thousand maps online, including many from Maps.com.  You can see the list here.  This collection includes many historical maps.  For example, it has Europe between the wars, 1918-1939, Early societies of Oceania, 3500BCE-500BCE, and The Vietnam War, 1964-1975.

Speaking of maps, our library has an underutilized print map collection.  These maps can’t be checked out, except for classroom use by faculty.  However, everyone is free to look at them in the building.  Here is a sample of some of the maps we have on Afghanistan.  You might want to take a look at these if you are following current events in the news.
